However, in an interview with ESPN, Paqueta dismissed the rumors, stating he is “very happy” at West Ham and would be “lying” if he said otherwise.

“I have to do my job here at West Ham. I have enormous respect for the club. I’m very happy here; if I say I’m not, I’d be lying.”
Paqueta said.

The Brazilian acknowledged the off-field rumors but stressed that his focus remains on finishing the season strongly with West Ham.

“Of course, it involves a lot of things that are happening off the field, but I remain focused on doing my best and finishing the season well. I started well, and I hope to finish well. What they say (about Manchester City) is everything from the last window. Now, it’s time to finish the season and wait for what will happen.”
Paqueta added.
